The American Dollar’s tracks are unbelievably varied and addictive. With so many releases and no vocals to boot, you’d expect there to be some similarity, the same approach or re-used synth-lines, but not with these guys. Drum solos, gazing guitars, melodic piano’s and glitchy electronic backgrounds make up a stunning discography and set each album apart from the last. Similarities lie with Hammock and Klimt and other post-rock/ambient producers, but I’m finding new and interesting sounds in nearly every other album.
I don't even know how long I spent listening to this...but man, it's relaxing to put it in the background as I do other stuff. I love it, man.
