The American Dollar

The American Dollar’s tracks are unbelievably varied and addictive. With so many releases and no vocals to boot, you’d expect there to be some similarity, the same approach or re-used synth-lines, but not with these guys.  Drum solos, gazing guitars, melodic piano’s and glitchy electronic backgrounds make up a stunning discography and set each album apart from the last. Similarities lie with Hammock and Klimt and other post-rock/ambient producers, but I’m finding new and interesting sounds in nearly every other album.

  1. I don't even know how long I spent listening to this...but man, it's relaxing to put it in the background as I do other stuff. I love it, man.
